Nanaba Europe app for iPhone and iPad

May 9th is a symbolic date. On this very day, all members of the European Union celebrate together the anniversary of the creation of the European Union on May 9th 1950. Did you know that the Schuman Declaration is considered as the birth certificate of the European Union?

On this special occasion, Nanaba, a brand-new start-up from Nice, has created the application “Nanaba Europe”. The app has been created in partnership with the primary school L’école du Château from Nice, the European Union, the City of Nice, and the French ministry of Education.

This app is available on smartphones and tablets in English and French. It consists in testing your knowledge on the European Union and its member states thanks to fun quizzes. It’s perfect for both children and adults to play and learn more about the history of the EU, its institutions and its community. Our app is FREE! So nice, isn’t it?

Nanaba is the first start-up to succeed in the technological challenge of combining school tutoring, parental control and digital well-being. Our revolutionary idea? To allow you, parents, to lock your kids’ favorite applications from 6 to 15 years old. Its up to them to unlock their app by answering educational quizzes!

Our concept is based on the spaced repetition method : identifying the childs difficulties in order to make him/her memorize more easily, in an almost subliminal way, using short sequence learning sessions. The artificial intelligence of the application and its algorithm adapt in real time to the childs level! Pretty cool, right?

This technology is used in our original application "Nanaba", which allows parents to pause their childrens cell phones and tablets in exchange for homework. It offers a series of edutainment quizzes designed by certified teachers according to the official curricula for primary and secondary school. What subjects are available on the app? English, French, Mathematics, History and general knowledge. And more to come!
